Call for Applications: Martial Arts Education Prize

UNESCO ICM invites all eligible individuals and organizations to apply for the Martial Arts Education Prize 2021. Deadline 20 August.

The ICM Martial Arts Education Prize, established by UNESCO ICM in 2021, aims to develop and promote the educational value of martial arts. The prize honours outstanding contributions made by individuals or organizations to promote communities’ development and engagement, especially focusing on youth and women. UNESCO ICM calls for your active participation!

The theme of the award is “positive changes made through martial arts education.”

Who can apply?

Individuals or organizations who have contributed to one or more of the following development areas through martial arts education:

• Empowering youth/women to overcome adversities
• Encouraging social engagement of youth/women
• Securing communities’ safe and inclusive environment
• Other contributions made for positive social changes

Nominations open on 12 July, and will close on midnight (Korea Standard Time) on 20 August.
