World Traditional Martial Arts Festival

The World Traditional Martial Arts Festival is the highest-level competition for traditional martial arts in the world sponsored by the International Martial Arts Federation once every two years. The first and second such festivals were held in Zhengzhou in 2004 and 2006 respectively, when the large-scale guest-welcoming activities, the grand and solemn opening ceremonies and various theatrical performances were held. In addition, some travels and activities for attracting foreign business and investment were organized, and a great number of entrepreneurs, officials and personages from all walks of life came to Zhengzhou to celebrate the festival.
